GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS Select the area where the library or archive is located. Provide the name and address of the institution. Describe, to the best of your knowledge, the nature of the collections there. Please provide any additional information students, teachers, conservationists, archivists, or indeed anyone could use. For instance: Does this archive have a particularly valuable collection that is in dire need of conservation? Has this archive acquired new collections through exchange or purchase? Does it hold exhibitions? Does it run training workshops for librarians? Can you identify which institutions would benefit through linked catalogues (for instance take the Modi collection in the Pune Daftar, and that of the Saraswati Mahal Library in Tamil Nadu set up by Maratha rulers of Tanjavur in the 17th century)
